This role will involve conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations, creating tailored treatment plans, and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions in a supportive remote setting. This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 110,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth preliminary interviews with clients to gather essential data on their mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Create comprehensive treatment plans based on detailed evaluations, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to drive positive therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Monitor and assess client progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure continued growth and effectiveness.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, medical doctors, and social workers to create integrated intervention plans.

• Provide timely follow-up with healthcare providers regarding clients hospitalized for psychiatric care, ensuring seamless transitions between care settings.

• Implement strategies to identify and mitigate barriers to recovery, actively working to promote clients' mental health.

• Support the families and primary caregivers of clients, equipping them with tools to tackle mental and behavioral challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The mental health counselor will serve a diverse clientele, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and older adults. Our clients may present with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction disorders. The counselor's holistic approach will encompass individual, group, and family therapies, ensuring comprehensive care that considers each client's overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as AVATAR.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of various physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Familiarity with the best practices defined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
