Hospital Operations Coordinator

Job Overview The Hospital Operations Coordinator supports daily operations and leads the team in the absence of the Operations Manager – Hospital. They are responsible for delivering on the established metrics within the contracted agreement and assisting in the team building of the ASSET360 FTEs. Responsibilities Work with HQC to ensure equipment functions at the highest standards, overseeing equipment flow, redirecting and allocating resources, and maintaining inventory, equipment productivity, supplies, and support structure for an effective Asset Management Program. Investigate nursing staff concerns and opportunities for improvement, implementing appropriate actions in a clear, concise, and professional manner. Understand the existing contract between the company and the customer, including facilitating the document. Assist with the supervision of HST personnel, including training, performance reviews, corrective action plans, reporting requirements, and career development. Manage staffing schedules based on equipment volume and foster cooperation among shifts to promote a positive team approach and staff retention. Facilitate, educate, and deliver the HST training manual for each employee. Supervise all HST personnel in daily ASSET360 operations, coaching staff in problem solving, communication, and conflict resolution. Lead HST personnel in training and education of ASSET360 policies, procedures, and best practices, including the use of in‑Care. Assist with daily tasks such as patient rounds, equipment deliveries, and cleaning processes as necessary. Perform all other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics Detail oriented. Computer skills – proficient in Word and Excel. Multi‑tasking. Communication – verbal and written. Time management and organizational skills. Ability to maintain a high level of communication with all involved parties. Understand the technical and financial side of business. Lead a diversified team toward a unified goal. Background Requirements Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 1 year of medical or management experience.
