About the Position:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Consultant (Contract) will lead the staffing efforts to attract and screen a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the Data Center Operations organization. We are looking for someone who cares deeply about the candidate and hiring manager experience as well as an ability to quickly learn complex requirements for specialized roles. The role is a temporary, contract role covering a leave (4-5 months).

• Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
• Responsible for job posting and advertisement processes
• Schedules interviews for all roles and communicates with candidates throughout the interview process
• Completes initial screenings of candidates and makes recommendations to hiring team on candidates to move forward in the process
• Assists with and drives the interview process, attending and conducting feedback sessions with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
• Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, provincial and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
• Maintains recruiting databases and ATS (Lever) for recruiting reporting accuracy
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
• Previous experience recruiting in the telecommunications or Data Center industry preferred
• Experience recruiting in a high-volume environment for operations focused roles including HVAC, Mechanical, Technician, etc. is helpful
• Good relationship building skills and proven track record of having partnered with various types of hiring managers
• Previous experience in a recruiting agency is a plus
• Experience and proven ability to passively source candidates (LinkedIn Recruiter) a plus
• A desire and passion to partner with the business in finding the best talent for our teams
• Ability to assess candidates during zoom interviews and provide insights to hiring team
• At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred
• Proven negotiation and closing techniques
• Experience working with an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) highly preferred – Lever experience given preference
• Bilingual French/English is a requirement

$30 - $35 an hour

Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
