Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting, providing flexibility and convenience while still maintaining a collaborative atmosphere with our diverse team of mental health professionals. We utilize advanced telehealth technology to ensure effective communication between therapists and clients, thereby maintaining continuity of care. Our work hours extend from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account each client’s unique cultural background and life experiences.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to best support individual client goals.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health challenges and fostering resilience among clients.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure clients receive holistic care through coordinated efforts.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies, effectively managing high-stress situations with a calm and professional demeanor.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and engagement.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, compliant with all legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training sessions focused on cultural competency and professional development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• A current and valid professional license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York is required.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches is essential.

• Experience delivering culturally responsive therapy is highly desirable.

• Strong crisis intervention skills coupled with a calm approach in high-pressure situations are necessary for success.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of individuals are critical.

• Competence with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology used in therapy is preferred.

• A commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality in all patient interactions is expected.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in providing therapy, especially within a multicultural framework, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
