Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately understand each client's mental health concerns and craft individualized treatment plans.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), that are tailored to the client's specific needs.

• Collaborate closely with clients to establish therapeutic goals, monitor their progress, and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.

• Offer flexible teletherapy sessions for clients who may prefer virtual appointments due to convenience or accessibility issues.

• Ensure all client records and documentation are maintained accurately and in accordance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and additional training to stay informed about the latest therapies and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in New York State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist.

• A bachelor’s degree is required; however, a master’s or doctorate in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust and rapport with clients, ensuring a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
