Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, developing trusting relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Engage with clients through regular sessions to assess their progress, discuss stability, and plan for future appointments, including discharge when appropriate.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress notes, ensuring that all client information is current and accurate.

• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate new clients and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be providing vital mental health services to adults, children, and families, emphasizing a client-centered approach. Our clinic serves a varied outpatient population, with an emphasis on creating safe spaces for healing. Your role will directly contribute to our aim of enhancing mental well-being in the community, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.

• Must hold an unrestricted, independent, and current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation.

• Minimum of one year of experience in an outpatient clinical setting post-graduation is essential.

• Proficient in utilizing computer applications, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and Pimsy, for documentation and communication purposes.

• Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families is highly preferred.

• Comfort with performing intake assessments and understanding various mental health issues is key.
