Key Responsibilities

• As a primary care provider, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients of various ages, particularly those facing chronic pain conditions.
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and complete health assessments, identifying patient needs and developing appropriate treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, with an emphasis on pain management strategies tailored to each patient's individual circumstances.
• Prescribe medications as needed and recommend other therapeutic treatments, ensuring that you are following best practice guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and effective pain management techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensuring seamless referrals and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to regulatory compliance and documentation standards.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and participate in patient satisfaction surveys to enhance service delivery.
• Stay informed of the latest research in pain management and continuously refine your clinical skills through ongoing education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily focus on patients suffering from chronic pain conditions, including those resulting from injuries, surgeries, or other underlying health issues. Our patient population requires a compassionate approach paired with strong clinical skills to effectively manage their pain and enhance their quality of life. Understanding their unique challenges and fostering a supportive environment will be key to their recovery and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A valid Physician Assistant license in the state of Georgia.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) is mandatory.
• A valid DEA number for prescribing controlled substances.
• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, though it is not a requirement.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in pain management or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits
