As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work primarily within a close-knit multidisciplinary team that emphasizes collaboration among healthcare providers. The concierge model allows for longer appointment times, fostering deeper patient-provider relationships and ensuring comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Graceful Pathways OB/GYN, you will undertake a variety of essential responsibilities, including:

• Conducting detailed initial patient histories and performing thorough physical examinations.
• Developing, documenting, and communicating individualized care plans while ensuring patients are fully prepared for screenings and follow-ups.
• Performing daily patient rounds in both clinic and house call settings, providing care where patients feel most comfortable.
• Writing orders for medications and diagnostic tests, with a strong understanding of women’s health needs.
• Interpreting lab results and coordinating with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Documenting discharge summaries and providing necessary referrals upon patient discharge.
• Educating patients on post-discharge care instructions to encourage adherence and promote better health outcomes.
• Engaging in ongoing training and development to remain abreast of best practices and advancements in women’s health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on women of various age groups, addressing a spectrum of health issues ranging from reproductive health, prenatal and postnatal care, to menopause management and general wellness. You will play a critical role in promoting preventive care and guiding patients through their healthcare journeys, ensuring they receive comprehensive support tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• National Board Certification in a relevant specialty area is required.
• Current licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Professional Nurse in the state of Georgia.
• Experience in women’s health or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of clinical experience is desired, we value passion for women’s health and dedication to patient care above all. Experience in a concierge or personalized medicine setting will be considered a significant advantage but is not a prerequisite.
