Work Environment

You will be working in a state-of-the-art assisted living facility that is well-equipped with modern technology and resources aimed at enhancing patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, independent advanced-level nursing care to patients, focusing on women's health issues throughout their lifespan.
• Manage chronic and stable medical conditions, acute care, and routine wellness visits, following established protocols in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Perform both non-invasive and invasive procedures as per the requirements of the role, including surgical interventions when necessary.
• Make autonomous patient management decisions and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Function as a vital resource for nursing staff, residents, and other health professionals, providing guidance and support in clinical situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role encompasses the care of women of all ages, including adolescent patients, pregnant women, and seniors in assisted living. You will engage with diverse patient backgrounds, tailoring your clinical approach to meet the specific needs of each individual. Education and outreach will be integral components of your role, as you empower women to prioritize their health and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or PhD in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Valid and unrestricted RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
• Ability to obtain DEA certification within three months of hire.
• Strong clinical competency with a minimum of one year of recent outpatient NP experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, including triage skills and familiarity with clinical quality improvement processes.
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills to meet diverse patient needs effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster positive interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated self-direction and organizational skills needed to succeed in a fast-paced, independent role.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of direct clinical experience in a Women’s Health setting.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth applications.
• Involvement in performance improvement projects related to patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
