Medical Assistant - CMA/MA

Job Summary: The Medical Assistant performs clinical and administrative tasks to support customer care and clinic operations. They collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and deliver quality, personalized care across diverse patient populations. Responsibilities: Manage patient flow by performing check-in, rooming, and scheduling assistance. Assist providers with clinical procedures such as immunizations, injections, and specimen collection. Perform laboratory tests and, if qualified, handle x-ray duties and phlebotomy. Support communication between patients and the healthcare team, including phone support and prescription refills. Maintain clinic supplies, order stock, and support prior authorizations. Document patient interactions and clinical notes accurately in the electronic health record system. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or recognized RMA program, or equivalent education. Current BLS certification. Ability to perform clinical procedures safely and effectively. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
