Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health, utilizing clinical interviews and standardized measures to inform treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans grounded in clinical best practices that are tailored to address specific client needs.
• Maintain regular sessions with clients to monitor progress, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary and providing ongoing support.
• Work collaboratively with external providers, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate holistic care and refer clients as needed.
• Participate in clinical case consultations and team meetings to enhance service delivery and discuss complex cases with peers.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes thoroughly and accurately.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Clear Pathway, you will engage with a diverse array of clients, including those experiencing a range of mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance abuse. Your ability to adapt to various cultural backgrounds and communicate effectively with individuals from different walks of life is fundamental to fostering trust and rapport, which is essential for successful therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a current and valid California state license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of four years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience providing therapy that is culturally responsive and inclusive, demonstrating sensitivity to diversity in client backgrounds.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the capacity to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.
• Proficient in EHR systems and healthcare technology relevant to telehealth operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.
• Familiarity with the integration of telehealth tools and methodologies that enhance client engagement and session effectiveness.
• A track record of continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, or additional certifications related to mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits
