Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital setting.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine unit,
• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM day shifts,
• 5x8-hour shift schedule,
• Shared on-call/standby coverage with one other technologist, including every other weekend,
• Cerner EMR - experience required,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required,
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required,
• At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in Nuclear Medicine within the past 2 years required,
• Valid, active CA license required - license required if applicable,
• Cerner EMR experience required,
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts),
• At least one supervisory/director/manager reference from the past year on the relevant unit required for consideration,
• A second professional reference within the past 2 years (charge nurse, co-worker, or educator) is also required,

• No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling permitted,
• No RTO (time off requests) within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; any RTO must be submitted at the time of application and cannot be changed after submission,
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler, and may require facility approval prior to assignment,
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
