Regional Sales Manager - Northeast

Regional Sales Manager - Northeast This is a full-time hybrid position for a Regional Manager - Northeast, based in Greater Boston area, with flexibility for remote work. The Regional Manager will oversee regional sales and operations to achieve revenue and growth targets. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving commercial sales growth by developing and managing relationships with waterproofing, roofing, and restoration contractors, architects, specifiers, consultants, owners, and engineers. The individual will also support and work closely with our local distribution partners. This role focuses on increasing market awareness, providing product expertise, supporting the bidding process, and identifying new business opportunities while reinforcing proprietary specifications for company products. Covering: ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, OH, WV, Western NY, and Western PA Responsibilities: Managing a sales team, creating and executing strategic business plans, and providing training and support to sales Collaborate with internal teams, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities to expand market presence Works with the existing independent reps, contractors, and distribution networks in promoting and developing the awareness level of Kemper System's product line in the specified market area Identifies and establishes relationships with new accounts to grow market share Collaborates with team on business plan to achieve the annual sales target established by Kemper Develops and prepares reports on competitor’s activity in local market Knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing principles and techniques, including utilizing CRM for pipeline management and project tracking Visit project sites and review conditions for application of materials Candidate must be able to speak in front of contractors, architects, specifiers, consultants, owners, and engineers Confident in formal presentation and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally Qualifications: Technical sales expertise, with the ability to articulate complex product benefits and installation requirements Independent, competitive, and self-motivated, balancing short-term sales targets with long-term business growth Excellent relationship builder and communicator, engaging effectively with contractors, architects, and the design community Strategic problem solver and planner, with the ability to navigate challenges, drive activity through others, and manage territory and product lines efficiently 5-10 years of sales experience in the building materials and, or architectural and design community, with a strong understanding of general construction processes, blueprints, and specifications Company Description: Kemper System America, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of cold liquid-applied resin systems for plaza waterproofing, green roofing, cool roofing, historic restoration, and waterproofing of various surfaces.
