Staff Nurse

Qualifications: Committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of all human life. Strong commitment and dedication to sexual purity. Agree with and willing to uphold the Statement of Faith, Code of Christian Conduct, and the policies of the center. VA-licensed RN. Successfully completes training in the performance of limited diagnostic obstetrical ultrasounds if performing ultrasounds. Strong interpersonal and administrative skills. Responsibilities: In conjunction with the Director of Nursing Services, provide consultation with PRC staff/volunteers for patient assessments, questions, phone calls, or medical emergencies. Provide pregnancy tests. Schedule and provide patient Limited Obstetrical Ultrasounds upon completion of training. Provide patient pregnancy counseling, education, referrals, and follow-up contact as needed. Document clinical findings, observations, and medical care in patient record. Assists the Director of Nursing Services in the inventory of medical supplies. Assists the Director of Nursing Services in testing and maintenance of disinfectant solution. Maintains supplies of standard forms used for the provision of medical services. Annual review of medical services policies and procedures, infection control regulations, and safety procedures for all staff. Clinical administrative tasks, including but not limited to, day-to-day operations as well as more advanced clinical administrative assignments.
