Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator

Position Summary The Division of Allergy and Immunology serves the children of North Carolina in the diagnosis and treatment of known or suspected immune deficiencies and allergic diseases, including food and environmental allergies. Within the Division, established and anticipated research studies conducted by the Food Allergy Initiative (FAI) support a nationally recognized program. This position will serve as a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator within the UNC FAI. The coordinator is responsible for independently providing specialized nursing services for various clinical research protocols, providing guidance to study teams in clinical and non‑clinical areas, managing regulatory documents, research data, recruitment, study visits, monitoring visits, and performing clinical tests and procedures such as biospecimen collection, vital signs, and study drug administration. Responsibilities Provide guidance and assistance to study teams in clinical and non‑clinical areas, including participant visits and data quality. Manage regulatory documentation, including creation and maintenance of applications. Conduct research data management and reporting. Recruit and screen participants, and conduct study visits. Perform clinical tests and procedures such as biospecimen collection, vital signs, and study drug administration. Coordinate study monitoring visits and oversee start‑up activities for research studies. Minimum Qualifications Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and two years of experience in the area of specialization. Preferred Qualifications Experience with food allergy. Clinical experience with children of all ages.
