Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Locals Caring for LocalsCedar Healthcare Center, a senior living and rehabilitation community in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking a dependable and compassionate Nurse to join our team. We are currently hiring for per diem / PRN positions with flexible scheduling.Position: Nurse (RN or LPN!)Schedule: Per diem / PRN – Flexible scheduling (work when it fits your schedule!)Location: Portsmouth, NHPay Range: LPN $33 - $42 | RN $45 - $53, based on experienceWhat You'll Do:Provide direct nursing care in accordance with care plans, policies, and state/federal regulationsSupervise and direct daily activities of LNAs, LPNs, and assigned staffParticipate in admissions, transfers, and dischargesAssess resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and familiesTranscribe and implement physician ordersAdminister medications and monitor for adverse reactionsPerform treatments, including wound care, and document progressProvide skilled nursing care such as IV administration, tube feedings, suctioning, and colostomy care as neededConduct rounds to ensure resident needs are met and staff performance is on trackCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care planning and updatesSupport infection control, QAPI initiatives, and survey readinessMaintain accurate documentation and appropriate supply levelsWhat We're Looking For:Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in New HampshireGraduate of an accredited nursing programCPR/BLS certificationStrong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skillsAbility to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environmentLong-term care experience preferred, but new grads welcome!Why Join Cedar Healthcare Center?Flexible scheduling — pick up shifts that work for youOpportunity to work across different shiftsSupportive team environmentGreat option for those balancing school, family, or another jobIf you're looking for flexibility, competitive pay, and a team that values compassionate, high-quality care, we'd love to connect with you.
