About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice-President of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic decision-making and operational partnerships with senior leadership, providing strategic recommendations based on financial analysis, and implementing new funding opportunities. This role also involves managing accounts receivable, overseeing the risk management team, and directing cash management activities to ensure the organization's fiscal stability. The Vice-President of Finance will be a key player in the company's mission to provide high-quality water services in a safe, environmentally friendly, and efficient manner. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive financial leadership experience, with a proven track record in leading and managing a finance team. The role requires expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, financial planning, investment and debt portfolio management, and risk management. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree or MBA. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of financial regulations, experience in ensuring compliance, and a background in utilities or related sectors. The Vice-President of Finance will also be involved in driving the organization's growth, leading internal audits, and managing relationships with financial institutions.
