This role allows you to deliver therapy seamlessly to clients from the comfort of your own workspace while ensuring a healthy work-life balance, with business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to gauge the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms, identifying underlying issues that may impact their mental health.

• Collaborate with clients on the development of individualized treatment plans that focus on achievable goals, incorporating their preferences and feedback throughout the treatment process.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Offer educational sessions for clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journeys.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to meet evolving clinical needs and ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the treatment of mood disorders to continually refine therapeutic approaches.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately, adhering to legal and ethical standards to uphold client confidentiality.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay current in best practices for treating mood disorders.

• Champion mental health advocacy, promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders within the community and supporting clients' rights and needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients come from all walks of life, bringing unique stories and challenges, which enrich your therapeutic experience and approach. You will have the opportunity to provide specialized support that helps them regain control over their mental well-being and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid credentials as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in the state of Washington.

• Competence in evidence-based treatment techniques specifically for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals in the care team.

• Proven experience and success in delivering effective treatment that produces positive mental health outcomes for clients.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect and build rapport with a diverse client population.

Compensation and Benefits\n
