Interim Accounts Payable Specialist
Up to $35/hour | Contract through October 31, 2026 | Immediate Need

Vaco is partnering with a valued client seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to provide immediate support during a department transition. This role requires a hands-on AP professional who can manage high-volume invoice processing while bringing ideas for process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Process 800 invoices per month
• Perform 3-way matching and invoice reconciliation
• Partner with operations and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
• Support AP workflow improvements and department initiatives
• Maintain accurate records using SharePoint and AP systems

Qualifications:

• 3 years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience
• Strong 3-way match experience
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP)
• Experience with SharePoint
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a changing environment

Preferred:

• Coupa experience
• Knowledge of taxability status and sales tax processing

This opportunity starts ASAP and is expected to run through October 31, with possible extension.
