Accounting Manager

Job Overview The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing enterprise-wide bank reconciliation and transactional matching processes within the Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) and PeopleSoft. The role also manages the enterprise governance of ARCS for reconciliation compliance, ensuring internal controls and ICFR requirements are met. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals responsible for bank reconciliations and transactional matching within ARCS and PeopleSoft. Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation activities, including the monitoring and resolution of aged items and high-risk balances. Own the governance process for ARCS reconciliation compliance, including user acceptance testing and update of the accounting policy for reconciliation compliance. Develop monitoring tools and leverage ARCS dashboards to report on timeliness of reconciliation compliance and aged items to senior management. Drive process development and continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing technology and automation to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control effectiveness. Identify gaps in existing processes and implement end‑to‑end solutions that improve data integrity and operational performance. Collaborate cross‑functionally with accounting, Treasury, Tax, Investment Operations, and other business units to resolve discrepancies, ensure process alignment, and support control compliance. Provide leadership, coaching, and talent development, including hiring, performance management, goal setting, and continuous development of team members. Build and sustain a high‑performing team aligned with organizational priorities. Deliver reporting and insights to senior leadership, including KPIs, aging metrics, risk exposure, and operational performance. Communicate complex financial and control information clearly to support decision‑making. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years of accounting or financial operations experience. Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams, including senior‑level staff. Strong knowledge of general ledger, bank reconciliation processes, and ICFR frameworks. Experience with enterprise reconciliation tools such as ARCS and ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or Oracle. Proven ability to manage large data sets and multiple systems to support complex analysis. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and issue‑resolution skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and present to senior leadership. Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing business needs. Benefits Base Pay Range: $138,150.00 – $168,850.00.
