Customer Support Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Renton, WA. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced call center environment where accuracy and professionalism matter.

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will assist customers over the phone, document information carefully, research issues, and use multiple computer systems to deliver timely and accurate support. Key Responsibilities

- Answer incoming customer calls and respond to inquiries in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain customer information while ensuring strong data integrity.
- Research customer issues, provide accurate resolutions, and follow up as needed.
- Navigate multiple computer systems while actively assisting customers by phone.
- Document customer interactions clearly, thoroughly, and accurately.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns and support a positive customer experience.

Compensation and Benefits

- Temp-to-hire opportunity.
- Compensation: $48,000 to $50,000 per year.

- Handle high-volume customer calls while providing professional support and accurate information.
- Enter and maintain customer data with strong attention to detail.
- Research and resolve customer questions, concerns, and service issues.
- Use multiple computer applications while documenting customer interactions.

- Previous call center or high-volume customer service experience preferred.
- Less than 1 year of experience may be considered for candidates with strong customer service skills.
- Strong typing, data entry, and computer navigation skills.
- Comfortable using multiple computer applications simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong active listening, problem-solving, and customer care abilities.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and focused during challenging customer conversations.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment.
- Able to remain seated and focused for extended periods while handling customer interactions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in a call center, customer support center, or phone-based customer service role.
- Experience working in travel, transportation, tourism, logistics, or another service-driven industry.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly and adapt to changing systems or procedures.
- A strong interest in growing within a customer support or client care career path.
