Production Supervisor

I’m working with an established manufacturing organization in the Metro Detroit area that is looking to add an experienced Production Supervisor to its operations team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the production floor, developing employees and helping a manufacturing operation consistently hit its safety, quality and production goals. What You’ll Do Lead and support production employees during the assigned shift Coordinate daily staffing and production priorities Monitor production performance and address issues impacting output or quality Coach, train and develop employees while maintaining clear performance expectations Promote a strong safety culture throughout the shift Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering and other teams to resolve production issues Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and overall plant performance Communicate shift priorities, results and concerns with plant leadership Maintain required production and employee documentation Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation What We’re Looking For Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within a manufacturing environment Strong people leadership skills and the ability to hold teams accountable Experience working in a fast-paced production environment Good problem-solving and decision‑making skills Ability to work effectively across Operations, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering Strong communication and organizational skills High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or technical training is a plus Schedule This is a full-time, on-site 2nd shift position. Some overtime may be required based on production needs.
