Job Title: Vice President of Finance (Construction)

Location: North Las Vegas, NV (100% On-Site)

Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 + benefts

About the Opportunity We are exclusively partnering with a multi-entity construction and contracting organization in the Las Vegas area to identify a Vice President of Finance. This is an immediate, high-impact role designed to provide critical financial and operational leadership to the organization. 

Operating across multiple LLCs, this organization is looking for a hands-on leader who can step in immediately, stabilize accounting operations, and drive process improvements during a period of transition.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Step in as the senior financial leader to immediately reduce the operational load on the existing management team.

• Process Optimization: Implement a structured month-end close process, manage trial balances, and prepare the organization for ongoing CPA financial reviews.

• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and delegate tasks to a 5-person internal team focused on accounting, accounts payable, and HR compliance.

• Construction Accounting: Oversee complex construction finance requirements, including progress billings, job costing, and AIA documentation.

• Compliance: Ensure accurate certified payroll reporting and prevailing wage compliance within an open-shop, non-union environment.

What You Bring to the Table

• Specialized Industry Experience: Deep, "hardcore" construction accounting and finance expertise is strictly required.

• System Proficiency: Prior hands-on experience utilizing Vista Viewpoint or Sage construction software.

• Leadership Execution: A proven track record of managing and holding accounting teams accountable to strict deadlines.

• Logistical Flexibility: Ability to work 100% in-office at the North Las Vegas corporate location.
