About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Information Security Services Sales to play a pivotal role in market diversification and revenue growth. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to executive leadership, with a primary focus on establishing and executing a go-to-market strategy for security offerings in new, high-potential sectors. This includes conducting market research, building a strong pipeline of prospects, and monitoring the competitive landscape to drive sales of services such as penetration testing, security audits, and compliance assessments. The role also involves leading and mentoring a global sales team, forecasting revenue, and collaborating with various departments to align sales strategies with company goals. Applicants must have a minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record in market diversification and new business development, and at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. A strong understanding of cyber risk, security testing methodologies, and regulatory compliance frameworks is essential, as is a history of winning business in competitive, unfamiliar markets. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, be excited about breaking into new markets, and have excellent communication and presentation skills. While not mandatory, a background in technical roles related to cybersecurity and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field are considered advantageous.
