"Coming Soon" a brand-new Land Rover dealership in Nanuet, NY , and we're building an all-star team to launch and support our operations. We're currently hiring a skilled and reliable Accounting Clerk (AR/AP) to join our back-office team.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a dealership from the ground up -with the backing of a globally respected luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

Process and post vendor invoices

Match purchase orders with invoices and ensure approval workflows are followed

Prepare check runs and electronic payments

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Accounts Receivable:

Process customer payments, deposits, and receipts

Monitor aging reports and assist with collection efforts

Reconcile internal AR accounts, including warranty and manufacturer incentives

Assist with daily deposits and dealership bank reconciliation

General Duties:

Maintain accurate and organized records

Support month-end closing procedures

Work closely with sales, service, and parts departments to ensure accurate financials

Uphold internal controls and dealership compliance standards

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in automotive accounting preferred

Familiarity with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack) a plus

Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy

Strong organizational and time management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting principles

High school diploma required; college coursework in accounting or business preferred
