Cheeky's is a neighborhood seafood restaurant and oyster bar along St. Petersburg's Grand Central District. A mix between a salty Old Florida fish shack and a classic New England oyster bar, with a menu of classic American dishes and something for everyone.

We are excited to bring a fresh dining experience to the community, featuring a menu inspired by simple and classic American dishes, seasonal ingredients and bold flavors. Our restaurant is dedicated to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests can enjoy exceptional food and service.

Behind the bar we're shaking up classic drinks and serving frozen cocktails. Our wine list is full of small production and natural bottles. Light local beers on tap and a deep list of no & low alcohol drinks round out the menu. We're an easy-going spot with friendly service, good for the whole family. Grab a seat along our sidewalk patio for great people watching (dog-friendly too!) or in the dining room surrounding our horseshoe bar.

Cheeky's is hiring Runners to join our growing team!

As a Runner, you'll be the bridge between the kitchen and the dining room, delivering dishes directly to guests and contributing to a positive guest experience.

The cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant is everyone's responsibility. Always check the floor, service stations, restrooms, etc. for debris and do not pass it by if you notice that something is needed. If you see something, say something!

Key Responsibilities
Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and standards of service
Demonstrate menu knowledge
Relay items from the kitchen and beverage services accurately to the guests
Communicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of guests and team
Complete all side work as assigned
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Core Qualifications
Some service and hospitality experience
Food handler's certification
Excellent customer service and people skills required
Good working knowledge of beverages and a willingness to learn
Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
Ability to read menus, safety documents, etc.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping required to serve guests and perform side work.
Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds regularly, such as trays with food and beverages.
Ability to move quickly and efficiently between dining and kitchen areas.
Manual dexterity required for handling small items (e.g., glassware, silverware) and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Work is performed in a fast-paced, indoor and outdoor environment that may include exposure to varying levels of noise and temperature changes.
