Team IMPACTis a national nonprofitorganizationpromotinghealthy social and emotional development forchildren living with serious illnessand disability,by matching them with college athletic teams.The team provides an extended support network forchildrenand familiesusing astrength-based, future-focusedperspective. To date, Team IMPACT has matchedmorethan 4,500kids on overeight hundred(800)campusesnationally, and100,000 student athletes haveparticipatedin the program. Position Summary As a member of the leadershipteamthePrincipal GiftDirectorwillidentify, cultivate,solicit,and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, prospects,donors, and family foundations.The Principal GiftsDirectorwillwork closely withtheChief Executive Officer (CEO)andthedevelopmentleadershipteamon fundraising strategies,participateinkeyorganizational events and meetings, andcollaboratewith internal and external stakeholders on fundraising events.The ideal candidatesmust beexperiencedinthedevelopment, fundraising,and non-profitsarea.This position reports to the National Director of Developmentandpartnerswith the CEO.The salary range for this position isXXKtoXXXKannually. Key Responsibilities Assume full responsibility foridentifying, cultivating,soliciting,andmanagingamajorgiftsportfolio ofhigh-net-worthindividualscapable of giving$100,000 or moreannually. Managea portfolio of approximatelyone hundred and fifty(150)prospects. Developprospectsengagement strategies with an emphasis onbuildingand managinglong-termrelationships. Partner withtheAnnual Giving and IndividualGivingteamon fundraisinggoalsand strategies. As an organizationalleadercontributetodevelopment and fundraisingbest practices. Collaborate with internalteamsandexternal stakeholders on fundraising eventsnationally. Qualifications A minimum of10 yearsofproven experience indevelopmentandfundraising, specifically in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship ofhigh net-worth individuals. Exceptional communication skills,oral,written,andpresentation. Possessthe ability to clearly articulate Team IMPACT’s mission and vision. Displayahigh levelof integrity,creativity,andmotivation.
