Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for a maternity leave position during the 2026-2027 school year. This assignment runs from November 5th until mid-February, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting near Albion, Michigan.

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license (please provide a copy)
• Previous experience as a school-based OT preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and educators
• Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student populations and learning styles

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct assessments, develop goals, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff to support student success
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Provide guidance and resources to school staff regarding sensory needs and classroom modifications
• Contribute to a positive, supportive environment that fosters student independence and participation
