Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a real difference in students’ lives by providing expert occupational therapy services during a key maternity leave coverage for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity working up to 40 hours per week, running from November 5th through mid-February. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and deliver direct interventions that empower each student to achieve their school-based goals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active Michigan Occupational Therapy license (please provide a copy in your application)
• Previous experience working as an OT in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• In-depth understanding of IEP development, student assessments, and progress tracking
• Strong communication skills – able to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet the individualized needs of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and contribute to IEP meetings and documents
• Develop and implement therapy plans that target fine motor skills, sensory integration, and functional classroom participation
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
• Offer training and resources to teachers and classroom staff, supporting student success across environments
