Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in clinical sessions.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and strategies for effective self-care.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
