Business Developer

We're looking for a Business Developer – Miami Are you a true hunter who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and winning new business? We're looking for a Business Developer to drive new client acquisition across the Miami and South Florida market. This is a field-focused, new-business role for someone energized by prospecting, cold outreach, getting in front of decision-makers, and turning opportunities into long-term customers — not a desk-based or account-maintenance job. What you'll do: Build and manage a pipeline of new prospects across Miami and South Florida, targeting shippers and companies that fit PRIMO's ideal customer profile. Conduct consistent outbound prospecting through cold calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals. Secure and lead face-to-face meetings with prospective clients, visiting them regularly to understand their transportation needs. Present and negotiate customized logistics solutions, backed by a solid financial business case. Own the sales process end-to-end — prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closing. Maintain accurate pipeline activity, opportunities, and forecasts in HubSpot. Identify and act on upsell/cross-sell opportunities as new accounts mature. What we're looking for: Experience in B2B sales, business development, or logistics/transportation sales (entry to mid-level welcome — we value hunter mentality and hustle over years). Comfortable with field sales, covering the Florida territory, and frequent face-to-face client meetings. Strong prospecting, cold-calling, negotiation, and presentation skills. Experience selling transportation, freight brokerage, 3PL, or supply chain solutions is a strong plus. Knowledge of the South Florida business and logistics market, and existing relationships with shippers, manufacturers, or importers/exporters, are a plus. Self-driven, persistent, competitive, and highly results-oriented. CRM experience (HubSpot preferred) and strong pipeline discipline.
