Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients by actively listening and demonstrating empathy and accountability in all interactions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish client care plans, contributing your clinical insights to enhance service delivery.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify mental health needs, including risk assessments and crisis management plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, providing group and individual therapy tailored to each client’s unique situation.

• Navigate existing organizational frameworks as well as external healthcare systems to facilitate access to necessary services for clients.

• Adhere to ethical standards and Mindfulbear's codes of conduct, ensuring confidentiality and professional integrity in every case.

• Engage in continuous professional development; participate in training sessions and peer-supervision to enhance therapeutic techniques and strategies.

• Facilitate short-term evidence-based treatment programs alongside comprehensive evaluative assessments when necessary.

• Advocate for clients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients exhibiting significant mental health issues or challenging emotional conditions. This includes working with diverse populations, including individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, developmental stages, and socio-economic statuses. You will be instrumental in addressing the unique challenges faced by those in underserved communities, utilizing cultural competency and sensitivity in all interactions.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LCSW license in the state of Texas is required for application.

Compensation and Benefits\n
