AWS Solution Architect

Position: AWS Solution Architect

Location: Franklin TN (Day 1 onsite)

Technical Skillset (Mandatory):

• Tools: ERWIN
• Integration Tools: Bitbucket, Jenkins (CI/CD Devops process), IDE(VS code or equivalent)
• Data Quality and Mastering tool: AWS Glue, Ataccama (Good to have)
• Databases: Snowflake, Postgres's (RDS)
• AWS Cloud Services: EC2, S3, RDS, Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Same/Cross Region Replica, etc.
• Object-Oriented Languages: Python, Java (Good to Have)

Technical Skillset (Optional):

• Visualization Tool: Tableau

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud-based solutions.
• Develop architectural blueprints and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and implement robust data architecture solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines.
• Implement new Private and Public API integration and maintain/monitor API Gateway endpoint to enhance performance wrt. To traffic.
• Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Deep expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, Glue, Event bus, SNS, SQS, etc.
• Evaluate and recommend new AWS services and features for integration into existing solutions.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS resources and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues.
• Develop, test and maintain high-quality algorithm/code using Python (must) and Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps, and product managers.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in IT industry
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience working as a Senior AWS Solution Architect.
• Demonstrated proficiency in architecting and implementing solutions using a wide range of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.
• Deep understanding of AWS security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, compliance, and secure network design
• Proficiency in writing Python codes as per requirement and Deep Understanding of snowflake Stored procedure and troubleshooting for performance.
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking concepts, including VPC, Route 53, CloudFront, Direct Connect, AWS VPN, Cognito, WAF/Security groups.
• Familiarity with AWS monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail etc. and ability to implement effective monitoring solutions
• Ability to design and implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery using AWS services like Auto Scaling, Multi-AZ deployments, and backup/restore strategies.
• Good to have knowledge on Data Quality and Data mastering tools (Ataccama).
• Proficiency in AWS services, infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in data architecture and design, including data modeling and ETL processes.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional.
• Additional certifications in database technologies (e.g., Snowflake pro) are a plus.
• Strong understanding of data storage solutions, database technologies, and data processing frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
