The Line Cook works efficiently, safely, and quickly producing a high-quality product and ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

1. Prepares quality food according to standardized recipes.
2. Maintains a clean, safe facility that fall in line with local Health Department Regulations.
3. Adheres to portions and preparation guidelines for cost effectiveness.
4. Reviews and adheres to schedule.
5. Takes care of guests needs and food orders/specifications with immediacy and accuracy.
6. Ensures compliance with Health Department codes and regulations.
7. Keeps direct supervisor promptly informed of key/significant issues or concerns.
8. Carries out duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner to maintain a safe work environment and surrounding area for oneself, co-workers and public. Responds to hazardous situations and/or potentially unsafe conditions by taking corrective action as capable and promptly notifying supervisory personnel.
9. Performs related duties as assigned or apparent.

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience cooking in a restaurant environment preferred.
• Must complete Serve-Safe program after hire.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a scratch kitchen.
• Strong verbal communication skills, and customer service-related skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including employees and the general public.
• Ability to speak and write clearly, concisely and persuasively using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation with ability to communicate one-on-one or in group settings.
• Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and organization.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to perform with considerable independence and initiative.

Work Schedule: Must be available to work a variable schedule to include, mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
