• Licensure/Certifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years PICU experience; cross-trained candidates able to float to Adult ICU and Med/Tele preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $53.60/hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric intensive care patients
• Titrate medications such as pressors, insulin, heparin, and sedation agents
• Perform IV placements, peripheral blood draws, and wound care
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, drains, wounds vacs
• Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, RTs, and other team members
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain accurate documentation in Meditech Expanse
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during critical care procedures
• Flexibility to float to adult ICU or Med/Surg as needed (approval required if not experienced)

What You Need:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• 2+ years PICU experience; cross-training in adult ICU or Med/Tele preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (NRP preferred)
• Strong skills in PIV, CVL, telemetry, wound care, stains, and drains
• Ability to titrate pressors, insulin, sedation, and pain meds
• Capable of passing an EKG competency exam prior to start
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
