Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support client progress.

• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress throughout therapy, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed about current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapeutic efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Telehealth LMFT at Dutchess Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse population that includes adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health issues. You will provide individual and group therapy sessions, addressing a range of conditions from anxiety and depression to complex trauma. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
