Travel Step-Down Unit RN - $2,278 per week

Travel Nurse RN Stepdown – Saint Louis, Missouri Specialty: Stepdown – Discipline: RN – Duration: 13 weeks – Start Date: 08/10/2026 – Hours: 36 per week – Shift: 12 hours nights – Employment Type: Travel. Summary Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN for a travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. The assignment lasts 13.14 weeks and starts on August 10, 2026. Responsibilities Manage ventilated patients, including titration of pressors and insulin drips. Titrate vasopressors, sedation medications, and manage arterial lines, chest tubes, trach vented patients. Perform cardiac telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and handle cardiac arrhythmias. Manage central lines, interpret ABGs, and provide non‑invasive airway management. Use rapid response/code teams, care of ventilated patients, and chest tube care. Handle tracheostomy care/management, pacemakers, and other critical care tasks. Run unit and assist with charge responsibilities as needed. Required Experience / Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care or step‑down/PCU. Experience with ventilation, titration of pressors, insulin drips, and trauma level II. Proficiency in titration of vasopressors, sedation, arterial line management, chest tube management, dysrhythmia management, and cardiac telemetry. Licensed R.N. – pending license accepted with state requirements. ICU or high‑acuity PCU bedside experience within the last 6 months. Travel experience and the ability to troubleshoot respiratory equipment independently. Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemption only. Certifications Required ACLS BCLS
