Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Review to join their Manhattan, NY office.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate federal, state, and local income tax returns for UHNW individuals (Form 1040), partnerships (Form 1065), and S-corporations (Form 1120-S) prepared by junior staffFinalize comprehensive reviews of complex fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041) for trusts and estates, including grantor, complex, and charitable trustsExamine federal and state gift tax returns (Form 709) and support the preparation of estate tax returns (Form 706)Enforce accuracy and compliance with all applicable tax regulations and firm quality standardsAdminister compliance for foreign accounts and assets, including FBAR (FinCEN Form 114) and FATCA (Form 8938) reportingAdvise clients as a primary contact on complex tax matters and provide sophisticated planning guidanceAnalyze detailed financial documents, including investment statements and K-1s, to capture all tax implicationsCoordinate with external advisors such as attorneys and investment managers to implement integrated tax strategiesMentor junior tax professionals through feedback, training, and oversight of planning projects and issue resolutionResearch evolving tax laws and identify proactive planning opportunities, including charitable and wealth transfer strategiesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance10+ years of tax review and preparation experienceCPA firm experienceExperience with UHNW clientsProven experience reviewing trust, gift, and estate tax returnsStrong knowledge of ExcelCPAJob ID # 47623Tagged as: In-OfficeDate Posted:Posted on December 12, 2025Location:New York, NY 10168, USAJob Title:Tax ReviewerSalary:$125,000 - $250,000
