Job Responsibilities Perform home health occupational therapy evaluations and re‑evaluations for adult and geriatric patients Develop and update individualized Plans of Care (POC) Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, post‑surgical, or other medical conditions Address ADLs, IADLs, coordination, strength, balance, and functional mobility Apply manual therapy techniques and non‑complex modalities, including heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and other physician‑ordered treatments Implement interventions for fall prevention, home safety, and environmental modifications Train patients and caregivers in adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment (DME) Fabricate splints and recommend assistive devices as appropriate Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Supervise COTAs and home health aides, as applicable Follow all home health regulations, infection control, and safety standards This PRN home health occupational therapist job in Keller, Bedford, North Richland Hills, Hurst, Roanoke, Flower Mound, TX is ideal for clinicians seeking flexible physical therapist jobs with in‑home patient care.
