Executive Chef Position
Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef to lead all food production operations at East Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas. This hands-on culinary leader will oversee high-volume food production across residential dining, retail venues, and catering services, ensuring exceptional food quality and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee daily food production for multiple dining venues and catering events;
- Lead production planning, recipe compliance, and batch cooking processes;
- Manage food cost controls, purchasing, inventory, and waste reduction initiatives;
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and Sodexo standards;
- Collaborate with operations leaders to enhance the overall dining experience.

Qualifications
- A strong culinary background with experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or culinary leader;
- Experience managing food production in a high-volume environment;
- Knowledge of food cost controls, inventory management, and production planning;
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations;
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills;
- A passion for quality food and continuous improvement.
