Customer Service RepresentativePosition Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced call center environment. In this role, you will handle a high volume of inbound calls and follow-up inquiries, assisting customers with prior authorization questions, account-related concerns, and confidential information. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating multiple computer systems while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls in a professional and efficient manner.
• Answer questions regarding prior authorizations, account inquiries, and general customer concerns.
• Accurately document customer interactions and update records across multiple systems.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive customer information.
• Research and resolve customer issues while providing exceptional service.
• Navigate multiple applications and databases simultaneously to access and update information.
• Meet established quality, accuracy, and productivity metrics.
• Manage approximately 50-100 calls per day based on call complexity.

• Minimum 1 year of recent high-volume call center experience within the past 2-3 years.
• Stable work history with demonstrated job tenure.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple computer systems.
• Typing speed of 30 WPM or higher .
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Candidates must successfully complete:

• Typing Test (One Space Version - 1 Minute): Minimum 30 WPM
• Call Center Telephone Skills Assessment: Minimum score of 75%

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MI.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Plymouth,MI.
