Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Processes and manages licensing and certification activities for long-term and non-long-term care programs within the Health Standards Section.
- Reviews and processes monthly renewals, key personnel changes, bed and capacity changes, facility licenses, correspondence, and initial and renewal licensing and certification packets.
- Maintains accurate licensing and certification records, logs, and databases, ensuring all actions and facility information are properly documented and tracked.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for program providers, responding to inquiries and providing guidance regarding licensing and certification requirements and procedures.
- Reviews and verifies required documentation from digital and physical sources to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, policies, guidelines, and established timelines.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple administrative tasks while maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and ensuring licensing and certification processes are completed efficiently.
- Provides administrative support for program operations, including responding to correspondence, maintaining files, entering data, and billing and collecting applicable fees.
