Make a meaningful impact on young learners as a School Social Worker supporting children in grades K-4. This rewarding contract assignment runs from ASAP through June 2027 and offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with 35-37.5 hours per week. There are immediate openings for three professionals, each overseeing a dedicated caseload—ranging from K-2 and K-4 to K-12 in educational and adaptive settings.

This position allows you to foster positive change and provide vital support to students, families, and faculty in an inclusive school environment. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs, ensuring every child has a pathway to success.

Qualifications:

• Active, valid license specifically as a School Social Worker (not just a general social work license)
• Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary settings
• Familiarity with K-12 school systems and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Compassion, communication skills, and an ability to thrive in dynamic environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional support to students, individually and in groups
• Implement behavioral and academic intervention strategies in alignment with educational goals
• Work closely with teaching and administrative staff on case management, IEP, and 504 Plan processes
• Engage with families and community resources to enhance student development
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
