Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, notably Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote sustained mental wellness.

• Regularly monitor client progress, documenting changes and adapting treatment plans as required to optimize effectiveness.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care to clients.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Ensure all patient documentation is accurate, secure, and compliant with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to contribute to case discussions and share insights.

• Advocate for clients' needs and promote awareness of mental health issues, working to destigmatize mental health challenges.

The LMFT will primarily work with clients struggling with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and related emotional challenges. Qualifications\n
