Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Embrace Shift Wellness, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for couples and families, ensuring a holistic approach to therapy.

• Providing individual therapy sessions to clients, focusing on their specific needs and goals.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices to address issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, job stress, and communication difficulties.

• Facilitating family therapy sessions designed to improve relationships, foster understanding, and resolve conflicts.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development and collaboration with your peers to enhance clinical skills and promote innovative therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will focus on a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will work with individuals facing challenges such as separation and divorce, blended family dynamics, and mother/daughter conflicts. Your role is pivotal in helping clients navigate these issues, contributing to better communication, emotional healing, and stronger family connections.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• An active LMFT license within the state of Virginia.
