Medical Assistant

Now Hiring: Medical Assistant Pay: $18.00–$18.50 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a busy oncology practice. This role supports physicians and clinical staff by providing exceptional patient care while ensuring efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities Room patients and record vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication updates Assist physicians with examinations and procedures Perform phlebotomy and administer injections as directed Prepare and stock exam rooms while maintaining infection control standards Schedule appointments, diagnostic tests, referrals, and follow-up visits Answer patient calls, assist with prescription requests, and complete administrative tasks Support patient education and maintain accurate medical records Assist with insurance authorizations, referrals, and obtaining outside medical records Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Medical Assistant certification preferred Minimum of 5 years of Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or clinic setting Phlebotomy experience preferred Current CPR certification required Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills If you have a passion for patient care and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr A-Line Staffing Solutions
