Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments to better understand their mental health needs, personal history, and treatment goals.

• Create and implement tailored therapeutic interventions and treatment plans based on individual assessments and ongoing evaluations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, to address client issues effectively.

• Establish and maintain supportive, trusting relationships with clients during counseling sessions, fostering a safe space for open dialogue.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with a diverse client population who may face a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and adjustment disorders. Understanding the unique cultural contexts and backgrounds of clients will be essential in tailoring treatment approaches and fostering effective communication. You will also work with clients from various age groups, ensuring treatment interventions are appropriately adapted to their developmental levels.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure in the state of California as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT is mandatory.

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated ability to connect with clients, foster strong therapeutic relationships, and engage diverse populations.

• Strong clinical skills and the ability to create, execute, and evaluate therapy treatment plans effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
