Senior Client Onboarding Manager

Senior Client Onboarding Manager Progyny seeks a motivated Senior Client Onboarding Manager to lead internal and external stakeholders throughout our benefit implementation process. The role focuses on driving smooth client implementations that exceed expectations and ensuring the successful integration of Progyny’s products and services for large and strategic accounts. Responsibilities Oversee projects from initiation through completion, ensuring seamless coordination across the onboarding team and cross‑functional partners. Manage both on‑cycle and off‑cycle implementations, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and client expectations are consistently met. Drive client implementations that exceed client expectations with minimal guidance from the direct manager. Identify gaps and optimize work processes to support client implementations in accordance with business, partnership, and client requirements. Communicate organizational processes internally and externally, including with carriers, vendors, and external parties to support a positive client and member experience. Manage integrations with client‑specific partners (carriers and vendors) for claims processing and benefit go‑live activities. Maintain accurate, real‑time reporting on all current implementation activities, communicating risks and abrasions to the direct manager. Partner with Associate Onboarding Managers and/or Onboarding Managers to manage the implementation portfolio. Train, coach, and mentor team members on the implementation process and best‑practice adoption. Organize team effort, identify and communicate priorities, and motivate team members to achieve team goals. Qualifications Minimum six years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success. Experience working in a healthcare/benefit environment preferred. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree, PMP Certification, or similar certifications are a plus. Experience supporting Taft‑Hartley Fund and/or public sector clients is a plus. Demonstrated implementation management skills, including leadership, communication, customer management, and project management. Hourly salary range for NYC‑based applicants: $90,000 – $110,000 (based on market data, location, and experience). Total compensation includes base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
