Work Environment\n

This role operates within a flexible remote framework, with the expectation of attending the school facility in Sammamish, Washington as needed. Work hours are generally Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends to ensure comprehensive coverage for mental health services. Flexibility for on-call availability will also be required to address urgent mental health situations as they arise.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for students, taking into account their personal history and current concerns to inform treatment planning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on each student's specific needs, ensuring these plans promote emotional well-being and successful integration into the school community.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address the diverse mental health concerns faced by students.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering personal growth, enhancing emotional regulation, and teaching effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care and ensure a holistic treatment approach.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support in emergencies, applying de-escalation techniques when necessary, and coordinating referrals for higher levels of care if needed.

• Provide psychoeducation to students and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to foster collaboration and enhance care delivery.

• Stay abreast of the latest laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines as they pertain to mental health services in educational settings.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is mandatory.

• A current and valid LICSW licensure in the state of Washington is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
