• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license valid in New Mexico or Compact state, BLS, ACLS, PALS (all American Heart Association) certifications
• Experience: Nursing graduate or with up to 2 years of RN experience (eligible for CN I; growth potential for experienced nurses)

• Hourly Pay Rate: $54.94/hour

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and deliver patient care for the surgical unit, adhering to established standards of care
• Obtain and document initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Reassess patients regularly to track progress, modifying plans of care as needed
• Develop individualized, measurable care plans within established standards and guidelines
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and health promotion strategies
• Perform Point of Care testing and document interventions in EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes

What You Need

• Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients across developmental stages

• Up to 2 years of RN experience in a surgical or PACU setting
• Strong clinical judgment and team collaboration skills
